First Blog Award for Chocolate Cult

Your Chocolate Priestess does read food blog from time to time much like I read LiveJournal or Facebook or other venues where people stay in touch or share thoughts.  OK, OK, I admit I play too many of those stupid games on Facebook but let's focus on blogs shall we?

I read any foodblog my foodie friends post updates to which discuss chocolate, of course, but sometimes if I have extra time, I'll read other posts as well.   Regardless, if I read, I always leave a comment because I know how valuable comments are to me and to the Acolytes who volunteer their very valuable time to bring you opinions about chocolate.

It is not uncommon for bloggers to run for awards or to give each other awards.  We've never gotten one though we got votes one year for an award that I've since forgot to look into again.  The vast majority of the foodie blog awards are for blogs with recipes and since those are rare around here, I never expected one.

Then Christine of Christine's Pantry sent me a lovely email thanking me for our honesty and for our information.  Then she sent another email with this wonderful blog award attached.

What I love about this award is that it comes from a reader and fellow blogger who has also left us a lot of comments.  I also love the design which shows several of the things we work hard to cover for you all --facts, images, recipes, culture, anything we can find related to chocolate.

I do wish that Christine lived closer so she could join us on the Wayne County Chocolate Trail on Friday but I know that if she reads our report(s) she'll likely leave a comment.  And I want to thank her for that because your comments make this work my while when I'm hyper busy and stressed wondering if it The Chocolate Cult is worth my time.

Thank you, Christine, and you all, go check out Christine's Pantry please.

Way to Go! Congrats on the award. As a chocolate lover I, for one, appreciate all your efforts and hard work.

Thank you, Joanne. We like what we do but we love what we do when we know you all are reading and find our observations and opinions useful.
