As we look to the final weeks of 2014 and either dread or hope for wonderful winter holidays, we'll continue to bring you gift ideas in our features but for now let's think about all the fun reasons you should be celebrating with chocolate.
Because your Chocolate Priestess is so busy with preparations for her family's annual holiday party I won't do a pool again but I'll do one in January so you can help me decide what recipe to try that month.
1st Week of December = Cookie Cutter Week
December 1 = National Pie Day -- one of my closest friends has a pie party every year the day after Thanksgiving... I wonder if she should move it the 1st of December?
December 4 = National Cookie Day -- ah, look below, yup, another National Cookie Day on the 15th.
December 5 = National Sacher Torte Day
December 8 = National Chocolate Brownie Day; Bodhi Day marks when Siddhartha experienced Enlightenment and in 2012 we marked it with a chocolate buddha
December 9 = National Pastry Day
December 12 = National Cocoa Day
December 13 = National Hot Chocolate Day -- Don't we celebrate this in January, too?
December 15 = National Cookie Day, National Cupcake Day
December 16 = National Chocolate Covered Anything Day
December 28 = National Chocolate Candy Day
December 29 = National Chocolate Day
