Cookie Factory Recall

The Cookie Factory, doing business as Maverick Ventures, LLC of Troy, NY, is recalling 2,367 packages of 6 oz. Chocolate Chip Cookies because they may contain an undeclared macadamia nut allergen. People with an allergy or sensitivity to macadamia nuts are at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The Cookie Factory product was distributed to Stewart’s Shops stores throughout New York and in nine Stewart’s Shops in Vermont.

The products were sold in a 6 oz. clear plastic tub “clamshell” container with a Best Before date of 10/13/23 printed on the sticker that secures the package. The UPC is also on the sticker that secures the package. The recalled product was distributed in packaging that does not reveal the presence of macadamia nuts. A customer who purchased a package noticed a substance that was later identified as a macadamia nut. An investigation determined the problem was caused by a temporary breakdown in The Cookie Factory and Maverick Ventures’ packaging process. We have not received any complaints of illness or injury.

Consumers who have purchased the Stewart’s Chocolate Chip Cookies in the 6 oz. package with a Best Before date of 10/13/23 are urged to not consume the products and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Stabilyze Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Recall

Betty Lou’s Inc., McMinnville, OR is voluntarily recalling 1.76oz (50g) packages of Stabilyze Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, BB 05APR24 0053, due to undeclared sesame allergen. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sesame run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.


The recalled product was shipped to retail stores, distribution companies, or directly to consumers through Betty Lou’s website in AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KY, MA, MI, MT, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, WA, WI, and WY.

Stabilyze Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter bars are packaged and sold individually in 1.76oz (50g) packages, with UPC 0 16073 00213 1, or packaged into 12ct displays box with UPC 0 16073 00223 0.

Individual packages (1.76oz) are marked with best by date and lot number on the inside of the fin seal on the back of the package or printed on the back of the display box. Packages with BB 05APR24 0053 are affected in this recall.

No other products or lots are affected by this recall. No reports of illnesses or injury have been reported to date.

The recall was initiated after it was discovered through an internal Betty Lou’s Inc labeling review and found that a natural peanut flavoring containing sesame oil, but sesame is not declared on label. This recall is being made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Customers with a sesame allergy or sensitivity who have purchased the affected product, are urged not to consume the product, and dispose of it or return it to their place of purchase for a full refund. Cookies-N-Milk Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough Recall

Cookies-N-Milk, of McKinney, TX is recalling their 6oz cups of Cookies-N-Milk brand "Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough" because it may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. The recalled product was distributed at retail stores in IA, KS, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, WI, WY.


No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem. The recalled Cookies-N-Milk brand, Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough is packaged in a 6 oz clear plastic cup. The lot number can be found on the top side of the container.

Recalled lots can be identified by the product lot code, which starts with lot # 3240 followed by a four-digit Military timestamp followed by C, for example: 3240 2300C.

Our firm’s investigation indicates the problem occurred at the packaging stage. Some containers may be filled with peanut butter edible cookie dough.

Paradise Flavors Ice Cream Bars Recall

PARADISE FLAVORS LLC of Marathon, Florida is recalling all Paradise Flavors ice cream bars (please refer to table below) because these products may contain undeclared allergens including peanuts, tree nuts (chestnuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, pine nuts, cashews), wheat, soy, milk, and color additives ( FD&C blue #1, blue #2, red #3, red #5, red #6, red #40, yellow #5 yellow #6, yellow #8). People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, milk, and color additives run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The Paradise Flavors ice cream bars were distributed in Monroe County, Florida through retailers including convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants, and resorts as well as Paradise Flavors LLC in Marathon, Florida.

The products can be identified with the brand name Paradise Flavors on the 4 oz (120ml.) plastic pouches as well as marked on freezers with Paradise Flavors logo stickers located in retail stores between Key Largo, Florida to Key West, Florida.

No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recall was initiated after the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumers Services conducted an inspection of the facility and made the company aware that product labels failed to declare allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, milk, and color additives.

Consumers who have purchased any of the Paradise Flavors ice cream bars are urged to return the product to 9601 Overseas Hwy, Marathon, Florida 33050, or the place of purchase for an immediate refund. In addition, consumers with any concerns may contact the company at (305) 509-0112 Monday through Sunday from 11 am. to 6 pm. EST.
