You really could give almost everyone you might run into for Easter this year because this is five pounds, about 500 Hershey Kisses in silver, pink, blue, and light green wrappers. The colors makes these acceptable not just for Easter, but for any spring holiday or event. Honestly there is nothing specific to Easter here in terms of colors, styles, or shapes. This bulk buy is from CHAIN & JO SWEETS store even though their page highlights their own creations not what they sell from other candy and sweet makers. I got this for free via the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for writing a review of it on that website; no other form of compensation was received for sharing my honest experience with the candy. This post is an unexpected bonus for both brands.
These are basic Hershey Kisses – simple milk chocolate wrapped in aluminum foil. The foil for Easter comes in four colors – pink, green, blue, and the regular silver. The colors were fairly evenly split in the bulk bag I received. If you grew up on Hershey, and many folks in the USA have, these will not be too sweet or bitter for you. In fact, they might be extra pleasant because of nostalgia. In fact, a bit of research reveals that Kisses are the only product by that brand that does not add the emulsifier PGPR, which the company started to add in 2006. If you want purer or traditional Hershey, the Kisses are the way to go.
The shop that sent these to me has an excellent price when you compare other sizes of Easter Kisses out there. For the childhood memories, for keeping the ingredients basic, and for the balance between the colors, this is Sacrament Worthy for your Easter or other times you may want that color array.
