Back on your Chocolate Priestess's birthday, she received a lot of chocolate which wasn't surprising. One of these was from her friend Cindy who gave her a 6 piece GuyLian gift box. You may have heard of GuyLian, Sisters and Brothers, they make these molded chocolates in the shapes of sea shells primarily. I'd never had them before though I'd seen them in stores. Remember, until I started this Journey I was trapped by cheap chocolate in large quantities.
2.30oz box I was given for my birthday contained 6 beautiful, filled molded chocolates that have milk chocolate and white chocolate both. Filled with a hazelnut and chocolate mixture that is firm and yet creamy tasting. The nuts are the primary taste that isn’t surprising when you look at the ingredient label: sugar and hazelnuts are the first two ingredients with cocoa butter and mass the fourth and fifth ingredients. Artificial flavors are also listed.
No nutritional values on this gift box so I can’t give you details about that. They tasted really good though but provided no buzz, the milk chocolate has 34% cocoa in it so not at the solid cocoa rush level. For hazelnut and chocolate lovers these are perfect plus they look adorable. Each shell or sea creature was different in this six-pack and it was as much a pleasure to examine as it was to consume. Thanks for the gift, Cindy.
If you weren't aware today is also "World Nutella Day" so while these don't have that in them, they do taste a lot like that spread.
Sisters and Brothers, may you too take the time to slowly appreciate what the Divine and human ingenuity have offered you in chocolate.

I love that layout on the plate, making the cake slice a flower.
