Here we are, only one day into 2012, and your Chocolate Priestess has one recall to share with you to help keep you and your loved ones safe.

Maribel’s Sweets Inc. of New York, is recalling its New York Handbag Collection gourmet chocolate candies because they may contain undeclared peanuts and tree nuts (pistachios). People who have allergies to peanuts and pistachios run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
This recall is a bit confusing because I can't find a website for Maribel's Sweets -- for a Mariebelle I can but is this the same company? The FDA announcements need to be much better in this case, Sisters and Brothers.
