Box of Individual Brownie Brittles |
Candy, Candy, Candy! Hey, Halloween is also here and you are probably feeling a bit overwhelmed by candy choices. One thing we do in my household is also have non-candy treats for anyone allergic to chocolate (sad but it happens) and non-food treats for those with too many allergies. But what about a third option? Something non-candy yet still a food treat? That might appeal to older kids and adults accompanying trick or treaters. Earliest in the Halloween evening we get little kids but as the hours go by the ages increase. I know that ticks off some old coots who think it should only be kids in grade school but unless you demand a copy of a report card, who do you know how old someone at your door is? I hit puberty at age 9 but I was only in 4th grade! I would have been very sad if some grump had turned me away when I was trick or treating at 9 or 10 years old. Basically if you are wearing a costume, we will give you something at my house. No, I'm sharing our address, we do have a budget to consider, and we normally get 150-200 people every Halloween!
Sheila G's Brownie Brittle sent us a big box of the three varieties of their snack sized treats in their
Ultimate 30-Pack to show them as a possible Halloween Treat choice for our 9th Annual Halloween Treat Challenge; no other form of compensation was received in exchange for our honest review.

Brownie Brittle Individual Bags |
These come in snack size 1 ounce packs and in three varieties -- Chocolate Chip, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, and Salted Caramel. The packages are color coded so you can tell them apart though the brown and caramel color are a bit similar in a photo they are different when you see them in person.
The pieces themselves also look different as this photo shows -- Chocolate Chip, Dark Chocolate Chip and Sea Salt, and Salted Caramel just as in the photo of the bags
