Chocolate Supplements?

Today, November 2, 2018, is the 10th National Vitamin D Awareness Day!

Good Day Chocolate Supplement Boxes Closed and Opened
So in honor of that, we're going to do a plain old product review of some supplemental health items that deliver their benefits via milk and dark chocolate. In all but the Energy supplement the chocolate tasted fine, a little bit of difference between each type of supplement. I didn't know if it was the orange dye at play, but I just didn't like the taste of it plus it had a hint of heat to it not surprising given the ingredients (printed very tiny, bad brand, make the ingredients and nutritional information easier to read!)

Two of the supplements use milk chocolate:

Calm Supplement

Vitamin D3 Supplement

Two of the supplements use dark chocolate:

Energy Supplement

Probiotic Supplement

Other than the fact that I can't actually test the health claims in any medically reliable fashion, each of these little boxes has only 2 servings in it and they cost $2.79 each! That's crazy! Think about it this way. Energy and Calm you wouldn't want to use every day but a probiotic and Vitamin D you might want to. So take a 30 day month, divide that by 2 for the number of servings in each box and you get 15. Multiple 15 by the $2.79 and you get $41.85 for one average month of only 1 type of Good Day Chocolate supplement. If you took them both that would be $83.70. Not to mention if you wanted to use the other supplements from time to time.

That's almost week of groceries for my family!

But what do you think?

I did not know these products existed. I need more Vitamin D. Thank you for the great article.
manda, thanks for commenting.

I can't recommend these as I say in the article. You can get a lot more vitamin D from food or from sunlight for a lot less money.

These look interesting!
They do look that way but for the price these are outrageous.
