Peanut Butter Cup Showdown: Chocolove vs Newman's Own

Let's continue with the dark chocolate and organic peanut butter cup comparisons this time between Chocolove and Newman's Own. I found both at my local co-op grocery store.

In this case the Newman's should be smaller because there are 3-cups per sleeve vs 2-cups in the Chocolove. From the outside, the Newman's Own is smaller in diameter and we'll see in the next photos we'll see more size comparisons.

Inside the Chocolve is darker and you can also see it is taller when the two halves are stacked. Comparing them by testing them reveals that the Newman's peanut butter filling is sweeter and creamier and the chocolate while dark isn't as dark as the Chocolove's. The Newman flavors blend very well, the chocolate and peanut butter switch back and forth as I chew it. This one is sort of a toss of for me. I like them both a lot.

Have you tried these organic dark chocolate peanut butter cups? What did you think? Leave a comment and let us know.

They both look delicious, but I wonder which one is better in taste and in nutrition information.
Hi, Mello, thanks for commenting.

I did write about the flavor in the post but nutritionally they are nearly identical so I didn't think it was worth many words this time around.

I find in general that most candy (even the so-called healthier options) are nutritional similar.
