Peanut Butter Cup Showdown: Reese's vs. Reese's?

Today is the Midterm Elections in the USA but we're going to have another showdown: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups versus Reese's Peanut Butter Cups with Reese's Pieces! Let's see if the pieces just add more sweetness and more peanut butter while undermining the milk chocolate.

First, thing to note is that they are the same size and I wouldn't expect it to be much different.

Yet when cut in half where are the pieces? I see some tiny specks of something in the peanut butter filling but not what I was expecting from the packing.

In terms of eating them, the Reese's Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup is creamy and sweet peanut butter with only a bit of milk chocolate flavor. The Reese's with Pieces Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup makes a light crunch and the sweetness and peanut butter comes stronger Between the two, I side with the original Reese's this time.

Have you tried the pieces vs of Reese's Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups? Do you like it more than the original? Leave a comment and let us know.

I've never had the one with the pieces in it, only the original. But I'm willing to try it.
Yeah when they were on sale, I thought, "why not try them?" too. If you do, come back and let us know what you thought.

This is way more fun than the political elections. And either way you win--Reese's or Reese's! Once I finish the last of the Halloween candy, I will have to have my own taste test.
You could always use the Halloween candy for taste testing, too.
