We return to Justin's to compare it to our new find of Wild Ophelia in the dark chocolate version of our Peanut Butter Cup Showdown series.
The two cups look different in the standard way when we've looked at the Wild Ophelia versus several other brands -- the Justin's is dark and larger, the Wild Ophelia is lighter in color, smaller around but thicker.
Inside they very different and this time it is the Wild Ophelia that breaks apart (yes, some 4-pack I've been using for previous showdown posts). Justin's has a burst of roasted, sweet peanut butter that is very creamy but the dark chocolate builds up with each chew. Wild Ophelia has a dryer center with a light peanut flavor and a weak, waxy chocolate that builds up to a salty finish in comparison. Justin's wins again in this showdown for me.
Who reading has tried either the Justin's or Wild Ophelia's dark chocolate peanut butter cups? Leave comments and let us know please.
