Let's look ahead just bit to see how we can celebrate with chocolate this month!
March 1 = National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day
March 2 = Read Across America Day -- Looking for books with chocolate in them in some fashion? Look here!
March 6 = National White Chocolate Cheesecake Day, National Oreo Cookie Day --> Obviously the only way to celebrate would be a white chocolate cheesecake with oreo crust!
March 7 = National Cereal Day
World Book Day (celebrated in the UK)
March 8 = National Peanut Cluster Day -- So easy to make! Basically, you melt chocolate, add in peanuts, maybe add in some coconut oil to harden a bit more, then drop by spoonfuls on waxed or parchment paper and let cool!
March 14 = National Pi Day which is often treated as a pie day or a circle shaped food day
2nd week of March = Chocolate Chip Cookie Week -- Maybe I should ask folks where they found their favorite recipe...
March 18 = National Oatmeal Cookie Day
March 19 = National Chocolate Caramel Day
March 21, 1904 = Birthday of Forrest Mars Sr., American candy maker
3rd week of March = American Chocolate Week
March 24 = National Chocolate Covered Raisins Day
March 25 = International Waffle Day; Pecan Day (not national)
March 26 = National Make Up Your Own Holiday Day
March 28 = National Black Forest Cake Day -- Don't ask me to make this. The ingredients are not ones that my family doesn't like.
