Add Weight Loss with Chocolate Raspberry Drink

Because of my own health issues, I don't follow a keto diet. As with most changes to your eating or exercising, the best results are likely to come from coordinating with your doctors so that you can find the balance that works for every part of your body. One of my housemates is trying a moderate keto diet and we thought this might help him. Of course, it will only help if he uses it and that is mostly dependent upon the texture and flavors for him. Let's see what he thought of it. I was sent a free jar of this beverage mix via the Amazon Vine program; no compensation was received for my review nor would the brand, MCM Nutrition, expect this feature on The Chocolate Cult.

We used the directions as per 16 ounces of water with two scoops of the mix. Below you can see the scoop in the opened jar. It was difficult to find plus there was this weird packet in the powder as well, I guess to keep moisture at bay, but it was bigger than expected and took up more space in the jar than I'd like.

It was easy to shake up the water and the powder to create a drink. As you can see below this is just a bit of such a mixture. If you'd like it to be darker in color and thicker, follow the directions for 12 ounces with two scoops.

The drink while drinking it had both a raspberry and chocolate flavor but when you finished actively drinking it left a dusty flavor and texture in your mouth. We tried shaking the mixture up again and stirring it more but it didn't change those results. For that reason, my partner wasn't thrilled by it. He'd finish this jar but he can't see himself spending money to get more until MCM Nutrition makes that lingering flavor and texture better. In terms of weight loss, not much impact as far as he could tell, though simply drinking this in place of eating something with more calories would naturally have an effect.

For me, I'm annoyed that the ingredients only list natural flavors not cocoa powder specifically nor raspberries; sorry, companies, but no, I don't trust you to include our sacred chocolate in any of its forms unless it states it clearly on the label there for this does not qualify for the Best Chocolate at the end of the year.
