Get Well with Chocolate Snacks?

We've looked at the gift box brand Sweet Choice Gifts before with their healthy snacks box, but today I'm going to share their Get Well Soon gift box option in the 45-item version. Let me start by saying that in 2022, I fell down our stairs twice and was laid up for over a month plus another two months recovery time. I used that fact to ask myself: If someone had sent me this, would it have made me happy and helped me recover with less stress? I'll answer that question and dive into how many of these snacks are chocolatey soon. I got a free box via the Amazon Vine program with the expectation that I would rate an honest review on that site; this article is a bonus for the brand and Amazon who gave me no other compensation in exchange for sharing my experiences with you all today.

As you could see in the previous photo, the box itself has a festive theme though it did come in another box yet still had those stickers on the top covering up some of the sentiments. Inside there were the snacks not packed too tightly as well as a postcard wishing me a quick recovery. It is good that the message on the box and the card is generic because people need time to heal from all sort of ailments.

Inside there were exactly 45 snacks, most of them one serving worth but some like the taffy and the licorice were less than a servings worth (4 licorice = 1 serving). The types of snacks ranged from breakfast such as the Nutrigrain to savory like the Goldfish crackers, to chocolatey which we'll look in depth in a moment, to pure sugar as the snacks I mentioned before. Several of the snacks were not the ones on the product description, that probably relates to supply chain issues, but just remember that when you order a box like this, you do not control what goes into it. If what each individual snack is matters, buy themselves and make your own gift to send or give.  Let me remind us all that what might be a good snack for someone recovery from a broken bone may not be advisable to someone recovering from heart surgery or oral surgery. This isn't a healthy box, this is just "Get Well" with snacks added

This is The Chocolate Cult so let's check out the chocolatey snacks.  9 of the 45 snacks or 20 percent were chocolate in nature; that's pretty good. Of course, I would have personally preferred more but we've talked about that above. Included were two Famous Amos Chocolate Chip cookie bags at 2 ounces each, two Quaker Chewy bars in the S'mores and three in the Chocolate Chip variety, one 2-cookie Oreo pack and a 2-cookie Chips Ahoy! pack. I've reviewed these same snacks elsewhere so I won't take up space doing that today.

If this gift box came without the additional box to cover up the sentients, this would be even better because I would have been thrilled that someone remembered me while I was recovering. It can be boring to regain your health. While snacking a lot may not be idea, this box would have helped me and my family because I could had a ready snack once a day without the need to ask for help or get up and risk damaging my ankle further if I'd had a supply like this near my bed. And yes, I do try to practice moderation so they may have last a couple of weeks, probably not 46 days.

How long would a Get Well Gift box like this last for you? Would it make you happy?
