Send All the Halloween Treats

Halloween is fast approaching but at this point if you aren't ready, good luck finding treats or costumes. Instead let's look ahead just slightly to November 4th, National Candy Day. You can think of this fun food holiday in a few ways. A day to have sorted through all that Halloween candy (if you have any left) and see what you have and decide what to do with it. Perhaps it is a day that you think ahead to forthcoming holidays where you might want to buy candy. Maybe it is a day that you think about finding your favorite candies before the winter holidays see them all sold out. It could be a day you try and find documentaries and learn about how your favorite candies are made. You may just choose the day to enjoy your favorite candies, too. In honor of all those possibilities, I'm going to share my thoughts with Adbi's Box, which a brand that offers several gifting and variety options for candy and snack lovers. I received a free box of their Candy and Gum Mini Mix Assorted Flavors (55 Count) option to test and review on the Amazon website through the Vine program. No other form of compensation was received for sharing my honest experiences with this product. Today's feature article is an unexpected bonus for brand and website, but note that if you use the links to check it out, I am an associate and will get a tiny fee.

Let's check the accuracy of the product's description first. There are two aspects to this I'm testing -- does it come with 55 pieces of candy and gum and secondly is the amount as shown in the "What's Include" photos. Are there 55 pieces of the treats? Yes! Exactly 55 pieces of candy and gum. By the way, there is far more candy than gum which pleases me.

Let's check if what is sent was what was supposed to be sent. I'm giving the box a bit of leeway here because I don't expect what I see in photos to of variety is such boxes to be exact, especially given supply chain issues. So if there are different flavors, I don't care, but I do want the same brand or similarly popular brands. If I ordered a box like this and saw a bunch of generic or lesser known brands substituted out without a note from the company, I'd be disappointed. That isn't the case here. There were only two flavor substitutions.

Adbi's Box 55-ct Candy & Gum

This is The Chocolate Cult, folks. Let's check out the chocolate. We covered a snack box before that I was disappointed in because of the lack of chocolatey snacks. Since this Adbi's Box matches so closely, I knew what to expect and here there not substitutes. I got the following chocolate candy in the box, all in fun size like you may have given out or got at Halloween: Hershey's original and dark, Hershey Krackel, Hershey's Mr. Goodbar, York Peppermint Patty, KitKat while and original, Snickers original and peanut brownie, M&M's peanut and peanut butter for a total of 14 pieces of chocolatey candy or 25% of the box.

Chocolatey Candy in Adbi's 55-ct Box

If you remember the feature we did on the snack box, you may recall that it had snack size items, these are piece categorized as miniature or fun sized, so they are smaller. But the amount paid is also less. The box is plain and not tied to a specific occasion so you can send it or give it to someone for any reason. Is it this a good buy in terms of just buying bags of the same candy? No, but if you wanted to make a gift with so much variety, you'd have to buy a lot of bags and then sort through them. Only you can determine if that is something that you are willing to do.

If this box of assorted candy sounds like the sort of variety gift that you or a loved one might enjoy, Adbi's has other options that you can check out here. Or simply click on the image below to go directly to the product I've written about and you can see other options using the "Visit" link under the product's name.
