Last Minute Gift for Nut And Caramels Lovers

We return to Fannie May Chocolate again before Christmas 2022. This time with their Assorted Nuts and Caramel Gift box in a winter holiday theme. The decoration you see is actually wrapping paper around the box, so if you are looking for gift that are pre-wrapped, this might be an option. The person you give this to would remove the wrapping paper as normal and if you are careful you can remove the Fannie May label on the front and back so they won't know what you gave them until they unwrap it. That's a great idea and it pleased me greatly. Before we look deeper under that paper and into the box, let's get the legals out of the way. I received a free product via the Amazon Vine program in exchange for a review there; this article is a bonus and therefore no other compensation was received for my sharing my experiences with you all today.

What didn't please me is that delivery left this outside during the big storm that swept the USA a couple of days ago so the chocolate inside suffered some fat and sugar bloom because of the changes in temperature and moisture; you'll see that in the photo next to this paragraph. Because of this, I feel it would be unfair to judge this gift by the resulting texture and flavor, so instead I'm going to share what was inside. Fannie May Chocolate has been around for over a century; their products are consistent in quality, so while they may not be a "fancy" brand, they will not disappoint.

Inside were 4 vanilla caramels, 10 milk chocolates, and 10 dark chocolates. The gift box comes with a list of what might be included; the list is good because it offers an inside and outside photo of each piece. My box included: Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters, Dark Chocolate Caramels, Dark Chocolate Honey Almond Nougat, Dark Chocolate Pixies, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, Milk Chocolate Buttercrisp, Milk Chocolate Caramel, Milk Chocolate Peanut Clusters, Milk Chocolate Walnut Cluster, Milk Chocolate Toffee, and Vanilla Caramels.

The wrapping paper, the wide selection of flavors, and the even distribution of milk and dark chocolate (plus caramels) makes this a great gift if you can find it at a store near you so you can avoid any damage from weather. For the quality of the chocolate, its dominant flavor throughout each piece, and the quality of the added ingredients, this earns Sacrament status here on The Chocolate Cult.
