Put a Little Kit Kat out for Christmas

Sweetside Candy 2lb Kit Kat Fingers
While the wrappers of this candy are geared toward Christmas with their three designs featuring tree ornaments, two greens, and a red background, you might be able to spin these are more generic festive treats this month. Today I'm going to look at the Sweetside Candy Co's two pound bag of single piece Kit Kats that are thus wrapped for the season. As you can see, the bag itself isn't very festive, that's okay because you wouldn't just put out this bag would you? We'll check out the wrappers as well as the candy itself. By the way, Sweetside Candy also offers a five pound bag of these if you really need a lot of Kit Kat treats. I received this bag of them via the Amazon Vine program in exchange for writing a review on that website. This is a bonus article about the product and no other form of compensation was received for sharing my experiences with it today for you all to read about. Let's see if this is something you need.

I weighed these and there were two pounds of Kit Kat individual fingers (the term for the single plank) in the bag. That was made up of 98 items: 34 dark green, 34 light green, and 30 red wrapped fingers. I do not believe you would necessarily get the same ratio of colors but I was pleased the three were close in number just for the sake of giving them out. Recall that the regular Kit Kat has four fingers, their Fun Size packages are two fingers, so this is a different amount of candy that you would normally get. I found this commonly called a Kit Kat Single when I was looking for calorie information and it these are indeed those, they still have 45 calories each. Ouch! Don't eat these like popcorn!

These looked like Kit Kat fingers, they crunched when you bit into them and chewed, they had the creamy, sweet milk chocolate as well as the wafer flavor with each chew. Basically, exactly what you would expect if you are a Kit Kat lover.

How could you use these? Yes, the wrappers make them most appropriate for Christmas, but since none of the design is religious in nature, I think you use these for more inclusive or general winter holiday treats. You could use them as stocking stuffers or in small gift bags for. You can even just unwrap them and use them in decorating your homemade goodies. These are smaller than the original and Fun Size Kit Kats so you don't need to break these up though you could if you wanted to do so.

I thought these were easy to open, fun to eat, and as long as I remember that these are not popcorn and shouldn't be eaten quickly, I think they will be a good addition to our holidays this year. If you check them out using our links, remember that we are an Amazon affiliate and will get a few pennies from you doing so. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all Kit Kat lovers who are celebrating.
