The Best Part of the Ice Cream Cone?

How many of you have had a waffle cone style of ice cream cone? Have you noticed that in the bottom there is always a solid bit of chocolate? The folks from Just the Fun Part have a new candy treat that recreates a larger version of that sugar cone tip. They sent me the Strawberry White Chocolate variety to test and write a review of on Amazon through that site's Vine program. This article is an unexpected bonus and is based on my objective testing. If you use the links to find and buy the product, we do get a small fee. Now, on with the results.

Each piece of this treat is large. The length is 2 inches and the widest part if 7/8th of an inch across. However, it crumbles easily if you try to bite into it, so I recommend just popping the entire thing into your mouth.

When you open the bag, which is resealable and worked well, you'll get a intense strawberry scent with a creamy vanilla follow-up to it. Sadly, that isn't what it tastes like; the creamy white chocolate with a hint of vanilla and strawberry is what I got. Just as white chocolate should be, this was also intensely sweet. The waffle cone part was not remarkable in taste but gave satisfying crunches each time I chewed.

This is real white chocolate; not sure if it is Belgian or not. That means that the price per bag ($5.83) is a bit high for just six servings. This is because cocoa butter is expensive, folks, and it takes a lot of it to make white chocolate.

A serving is just two pieces and that clocks in at 100 calories or 50 calories per piece. That was actually fine with me because white chocolate's sweetness overwhelms me quickly. Other testers I gave this to, loved it more than me.

For being real white chocolate and for the love that others gave it, this make Sacrament Status here on The Chocolate Cult.
